AnthonyEMMERSONAnthony Emmerson, known as Tony, sadly passed away at the age of 78 on Aug 6th 2026 at North Tyneside General Hospital after a period of ill health. Tony was a devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Tony was the beloved father of Angus, Brendan, Carmel and Gillian, also grandfather of Jack, Daniel, Connor, Ethan, Isabella and Freya. Not forgetting Tony's beloved sister Ruth, nephew Jeff and pet dog Chalky.
Funeral service to be held at Tynemouth Crematorium on 19th August 2026 at 1.30 pm.
Tony was formerly in the Coldstream Guards and also the Tyne and Wear Metropolitan Fire Service. All who knew him are welcome to attend to pay their respects. Farewell toast to be held afterwards at Spreadeagle pub in Preston Grange. May he rest in peace.
