For 75 years a staunch supporter of the England Rugby XV through thick and thin (and there's been an awful lot of thin). Private family funeral with a memorial anon. A true gentleman—kind, generous, and full of warmth—Chris was a cherished lifelong friend to my late brother - Alexander Ghods, their bond beginning at Haileybury and lasting through the years. His loyalty, humour, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. I recall him with fondness not only as my brother's best friend, but as someone who touched our family’s life with kindness and grace.

His memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
