Erika MaryBattenIt is with great sadness that the family announce that Erika Mary Batten, of Four Lanes, passed away peacefully at the Royal Cornwall Hospital on Saturday 10th October 2026, aged 78 years.
A much-loved Mum to Beck and the late Clare; mother-in-law to Richard; Gran to
Georgia and Lizzie; sister to Anne, Sally and Maria; former wife of Ralph; sister-in-law, auntie, cousin and friend to many.
Erika will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Erika will be received into the Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Tuesday 10th November 2026 at 6.00pm, followed by a Requiem Mass on Wednesday 11th November at 2.00pm.
Family flowers only, please, and donations in memory of Erika, if desired, for The Butterfly Companions can be received at the service and may be sent to the Funeral Director.
