The Tony Eslick that you remember is no doubt my father - its fair to say that he was an eccentric and had a love of shooting film throughout his life. He actually spent his early life in Mossley Hill but when you knew was living in Childwall and studying medicine at the University of Liverpool. It sounds like you had a very interesting career, Tony went on to practice in Figi, Nepal, Germany, Northern Ireland, Samoa and Saudi Arabia before retiring in Dorset. I have attached a photo of my father at his graduation, I am sure that it is the man that you remember.

I knew a Tony Eslick (around the early 50's) when I lived in Liverpool . He was an unusual person, impressive and somewhat "special" and had a movie camera which was rare in those days. I can't remember how we got to know one another, perhaps through our parents. Where did he live in Liverpool - we lived in the Mossley Hill and then Queens Drive and Tony didn't live nearby. I went to Liverpool Collegiate and then the University where I gained a first in Physics, going on to work on the atom and hydrogen bombs.
