I have just finished watching the live stream of Ken's final service. Well done to all for remembering Ken in such a grand manner. I will miss my father-in-law.

Dear Ken a message to you.........You are a joy and a privilege to know......your love of a joke, kindness beyond limit and creativity make it such a pleasure to spend time with you. We love your wartime stories....especially the Langham tankard, picking Mushrooms in a minefield and the Butterfly device. We still tell your stories with wonder. On one occasion when Lauraine was taking an 86 year old deafblind man to the CMS museum in Maldon, to her amazement she saw a Butterfly device on display with all the history behind it. Oh course you were there with her in sprit as she told your story which was bought to life with the exhibit. We think they even had a uniform that was similar to the Polar Bears. And there is your kindness, such kindness, you made Lauraine the most wonderful silver Frog earring from a design she saw in a dream and lent us a Ciitroen which was great fun. You are a joy Ken....a real bright star .....we have much love and gratitude for knowing you, thank you for sharing time with us and for all you have done ....with much love again....
