DavidEVANSOn Dec 20, 2014, David Evans of Cefn Perthy Farm, Cwmbran, passed away peacefully, aged 89 years; beloved husband of Marvis, devoted father of Anne, Dale, David and Frances, much loved grandfather of Alfie. Funeral on Monday Jan 5, committal service will take place, 1pm at Llwyncelyn Cemetery, followed by a memorial service, 1.30pm at the Castell-y-Bwch Inn, Henllys. I often wonder about David


I'm not sure how many of the family will remember me, Huw Jones, I lived up the road in Blackwood. David gave me a lot of his time when I was a young boy hanging around the farm in Blackwood.
Your move to Cwmbran was a loss to me as I spent so much time with David. I vividly remember coming over with my parents and my mother witnessing the birth of a foal, something she treasured right up to her death.
Ironically I have a stepson living just off Henllys way but had no idea how close I was.
Please accept my condolences and those of my sister Val, our thoughts are with you.
