GrahamEVANSMr Graham Evans, of Lancaster Avenue, Accrington, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 7, aged 93. Graham worked for Hepworth Plastics as a quality control manager until retirement. Previously to this, he worked as an inspector at English Electric, Clayton-le-Moors. Graham played crown green bowling, and was a member of Burnley Road Club. He played football in his younger days, playing for Tranmere Rovers at one time. He supported Everton FC, and was interested in most sports. Graham’s late wife was called Irene. He had two sons, Gordon and Ian, and a daughter Sandra who sadly passed away this year. Graham also had eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Friday, November 20, at 12.20pm at Accrington Crematorium, led by Neil Overton. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired to Tramshed Inclusive Theatre Company, via www.tramshed.org.uk . Funeral director: Hyndburn Funeral Services, Accrington.
