I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Irene. I have fond memories of her bringing Lindsey down to her Nan and Grandad Taylor’s house next door to ours in St. Philips Avenue. She used to meme me feel special when she would offer to cut my hair ready to go back to school at the end of the summer holidays. One day they up and left Liverpool to go and live in Wales. Irene and Lindsey came back for a visit about 6/12 months later with a brand new Welsh accent! I couldn’t believe it. It was so funny to me and my Mum how quickly they had pickled it up. Sending Lindsey and her family all our love from ours family to yours . R.I.P Irene xxx
