Garry JohnEVANSIt is with the saddest regret that we announce the passing of Garry John Evans. Garry passed away peacefully at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and dedicated nursing staff, on 24th June 2023 aged 73 years. Beloved husband of the late Janet. Devoted Dad to Katherine and Caroline. Loving Gramp/Babba to Daniel and Alex. Sincere father-in-law to Jonathan and Gavin. Dearest brother-in-law to Christine, John and Diane. Loving brother to Barbara and uncle to Kelly, Joanne and Michael. Will be dearly missed by all who knew him but never forgotten. Resting in the care of James Summers Funeralcare, Roath until the funeral service at Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium on Friday 28th July 2023 at 11am. Followed by a wake from 12pm at the Fynnon Wen pub, Thornhill Rd, Llanishen, Cardiff CF14 9UA. Everyone who knew Garry is welcome to attend the service at the crematorium and / or the wake as individual circumstances permit. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, would be appreciated for Y Bwthyn NGS Macmillan Specialist Palliative Care Unit, at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital near Llantrisant. www.macmillan.org.uk/cancer-information-and-support/get-help/centres/y-bwthyn-ngs
