John DavidEVANSJohn peacefully passed away on 17th August 2024, aged 83 years.

Beloved husband to Eunice, a treasured father to his daughters Rachael and Sarah, and a compassionate taid and grandpa to his five grandsons, John, James, Andy, Joe and Ted. John will be profoundly missed by all his family and friends.

John was proud to have played for his home-town club, Chester F.C, and spent many decades working as an electrician.

John will be fondly remembered as a generous, kind-hearted man whose many funny anecdotes and stories always made others smile.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday 5th September at St Peter's Church, Waverton at 14:30, followed by a private family burial and a reception at the Burley Hall.

Family flowers only please. Any donations to the Boys Brigade would be gratefully appreciated.

John was a lovely man and cared for his wife and family dearly. He was a loving Christian person who served St Peter’s Church Waverton faithfully over many years. May you rest in peace now with those who you are reunited with. Blessings and prayers June Willis

In loving memory of a great man.
You were such a good pal to my Dad. I hope you’ve caught up, up there, and are having a pint together.
Rest easy John.
With love
