Philip EmileEVANSPhilip, aged 74 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 18th March 2026 at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Bethan, much loved father of Elinor and Meleri, cherished pops of Bella; and a dear uncle of Edward.
Philip was a well-respected businessman, having established an Estate Agency through which he has offered his support, guidance and advice to many people over the years. He was also devoted to charitable causes, serving as Area Chairman of Round Table in the 1990s and, more recently, as President of Aberystwyth Rotary, raising funds for numerous local charities.
A public funeral service will be held at St Padarn's Church, Llanbadarn Fawr, Aberystwyth on Saturday, 25th April 2026 at 11:00am.
Family flowers only. Donations will be gratefully received towards the 'Clinical Haematology Fund' at Bronglais Hospital and will be used to purchase a 'Vein Finder' - something which would have greatly benefitted Philip during his time in hospital.
