Our rock, our safe place, our guide. What will we do now you are no longer here. Thank you for everything dad. Your grandchildren and I would not have reached the heights we have, without you being there every step of the way. The best dad and grandad, and you will be missed always. We will look after mum and your memory will live on. We love you. Samantha, Alexandra and Adam xxx

To our very dear neighbour and friend, John. Thank you, John, for being the absolute best neighbour we could have ever asked for. Rest in peace. You will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
With our love Anne (the other bossy one as you called me), Phil, Phoebe and Madeleine. Xx

To my ex father in law John. Always a true gentleman and most definitely a scholar .

A warm and kind man with a unique sense of humour . Despite not being part of the immediate family in most recent years, John always made me feel welcome whenever we met without any awkwardness. Perhaps the greatest tribute I can pay however is the fact that he has been a tremendous Grandfather to my kids of which I will be forever grateful.
RIP John.
