GeorgeFARMERIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father George Farmer aged 93. Devoted husband to the late Margaret, Dad to Stephen, Alison, Gillian and Carol, Grandpa to David, Gregory, Jacqueline and Jamie and Papa GG to Jaxon and Hugo. George will sorely missed by all of his family and friends. Funeral Service at Holy Spirit Church St. Ninians on Monday 22nd August at 11.30 there after to Stirling Crematorium to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited

George Farmer became a friend as a result of his mutual interest in Lancia cars. With another friend with an adjacent birthday, we three couples would have a good night out in late June over several years in the early 1980s. He was also a great host and loved his quad phonic HiFi system.
I feel sure that his contribution to the Edinburgh Festival chorus must have been enormous over many years. Remembered fondly. Paul Mayo
