The obituary notice of FARR

Mr Farr was my teacher from 1991-1992. I remember distracting him from teaching by asking about aeroplanes, but also him telling the class that girls couldn’t wear short tops to the leaver’s disco.

Mr Farr was my teaching mentor when I was placed at Longwell Green Primary some 16 years ago. He was instrumental in my teacher training and was a brilliant mentor. I will always remember him fondly. Saddened to find out he's passed so young.

Mr. Farr taught me from 2010-2011, and I'm really saddened to read of his passing. He was such a good man; one of the loveliest teachers I've ever known. Even after he had to leave because he had developed brain tumours when I was in the middle of Year 5, he still made it to our Year 6 play at the end of the year. Thank you for everything, Mr. Farr; you will be sorely missed.

Mr Farr was my teacher between 1992-93, and was exceptional. I think I learnt more on that time than the rest of the years at that school. He was kind, generous and gifted teacher, and had a lasting impact on all he taught. Mr Farr, thanks for everything you gave us.

Most saddened to hear of Mr Farr's passing. I was in his class when he first came to teach at Longwell Green (I'm 46 now so he must have been straight out of Uni). I have nothing but good memories of him being my teacher and I'll always remember him playing Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles on his acoustic guitar.

Mr Farr was my teacher at Longwell Green County Primary. I am now 38 years old so he must've been early 20s when I knew him. Although all that time has passed I have never forgotten him and he always stayed in my memories for being such a lovely man. I have only just learned of this tragic news and I am deeply saddened and am gutted to have missed the funeral. RIP Mr Farr, you will be missed.
