BenitaFARRELLBenita Farrell (nee Tait) passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 27, 2023. Benita was born in Errol, Scotland on September 16, 1935. She is survived by her sister Irene, sons: Stephen (Jayne), Michael (Lisa) and Paul, Grandsons: Adam (Claire), Ryan (Iris) and Nicholas (Emily), Great Grandsons Asher and Alec, niece and nephew Debra and Andy (Laura), as well as other extended family. She is predeceased by husband John. Benita grew up in Scotland and emigrated to Canada in 1974 with John and her boys. Her family meant the world to her, and she had a special love for children. She worked part time at the Victoria Golf Club where she made many friends. She was a much loved Mother, Mother-in-law, and Grandmother. She will be very sadly missed by us all.

Fortunately, she was able to celebrate her 88th birthday with all her family a week before she passed.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Victoria General, Gorge Road Hospital, Jubilee Hospital, Dr. Humphreys, and Dr. Jenkins for your kind, compassionate care.

There will be no formal funeral as per Mum's request. Please send any condolences to stevefar@shaw.ca
