The obituary notice of John Francis FAULKNER

R.I.P. Mr Faulkner and thanks for good memories from school and the school council.

I had the pleasure of meeting John through his son Tom. We grew up together and had many a happy memory in Appleby and crashing at his house after nights out. A true gentleman, kind and inspirational. Rest in peace John and thank you xx

A dear friend who will be sorely missed. I’m writing this having just had the privilege of attending John’s funeral. A funeral which was utterly John; funny, sincere, compassionate and honest. It even went on for longer than I was expecting (in a good way) and I learned things, all of which are just like the times I spent with you, my friend.
You enriched lives and made you made a significant contribution to those lives you touched. You were a good, good man and I shall miss you.
Rest easy, mate. I’ll see you again.

A teacher I will never forget, and talk about frequently.
Mr. Faulkner helped me threw more than he will ever know!
Thank you for your patience and understanding, and for just being a fantastic teacher to us all.
My thoughts are with his loved ones at this sad time. x
