LeonardFEDDENPEACEFULLY on Saturday, January 18, Leonard (known as Len), aged 79, of Church. The devoted husband of the late Doreen, much loved dad of Geof and Linda, dear father-in-law of Chris, cherished grandad of Matthew and Benjamin and great-grandad of Leo, also a dear brother and friend to many. Len spent most of his working life as a HGV driver for Ironfield's and retired in 2001. Len loved to spend time with his family. He was a devoted husband to Doreen, and together they loved to dance. Walking was a favourite pastime of Len's as well as catching up with workmates for a pint; he enjoyed socialising whether it be with his grandsons or his friends. Len will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. Funeral service took place at Champ Funeral Services, followed by interment at Dill Hall Cemetery on Thursday, January 30. Donations if desired in memory of Len to The British Lung Foundation c/o funeral director Champ Funeral Services, Bank House, Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors.
