AlisonFELLMrs Alison Fell, of Newchurch Road, Newchurch, died at home on Thursday, November 11, aged 69 years. Alison was a teacher, and retired from St Anne’s School, Edgeside in 2010. Alison loved looking after her grandchildren after retirement, spending time with friends and family over a coffee and a slice of cake, and enjoying time spent in one of her favourite places, the Lake District, especially Keswick. She was a member of Newchurch Methodist. She leaves husband Peter, daughter Katie and her partner Gareth, son Mark, granddaughter Ava, grandson Emrys, sister Kath and brother-in-law Ray and family, brother-in-law John and sister-in-law Winifred and family, and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly. The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 25, 2.30pm at Burnley Crematorium. Family flowers only and donations to Rossendale Hospice or Pendleside Hospice.
