LydiaFENWICKPeacefully in hospital on 2nd May 2023 aged 79 years, Lydia (Nee Pugmire). Devoted wife of Ronnie, much loved mam of Samantha and Amanda, loved mother-in-law of Brendan and John. A treasured grandma of Niamh, Martha and Jacob. Funeral service to take place at South Shields Crematorium on Friday 26th May at 11:15am. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired can be left after the service for Lewy Body Society.

My beloved friend Lydia. Lydia was such a kind and considerate person. To have known her was a real privilege in my life. There isnt enough space here but Lydia taught me to look for the good things in the world, to always smile, to stop and to remember old friends. A wise woman and one who loved and cherished her family so much, encouraging her daughters to flourish. I know she adored her beautiful grandchildren. We will all have an empty space in our lives now. To absent friends. To Lydia, always x
