RichardFIELDRichard John Henry Field, 92 years of age, passed away peacefully on 7th August 2023 at The Heights Nursing Home, High Wycombe. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 23rd August at the Kent & Sussex Crematorium, Tunbridge Wells, at 11.30am. Whilst he has now joined his beloved wife Anne he will be sadly missed by his two sisters, his three children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren Richard was born on 9th February 1931 in Eastbourne, Sussex. However, he subsequently lived in Steyning, Westerham and Hadlow before moving to Tunbridge Wells in 1983. Richard enjoyed a variety of sports including being a lifelong supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion and a long-time member of Lamberhurst Golf Club. However, his true passion was Snooker and he was known throughout Kent & Sussex for his dedicated service to the game as a player, professional referee, administrator and coach of young players. In addition, he was an active member of the Tunbridge Wells Constitutional Club for many years.
