Alwyn ElizabethFINNEYSadly on August 24th 2021, Alwyn aged 85 years of Hanley passed away at home. Wife of the late Bernard, a treasured mum of Edwina and mother in law of John, a much loved nan of Derrith, Michael, Ashley and John and also an adored great nan. Alwyn will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Funeral to take place on Monday September 20th. Service and cremation at Carmountside Crematorium at 1pm. 2 years have passed since you left, not a day goes by without you in my thoughts. How many times I think and say I’ll have to ask mum she’d remember but then you’re not there for me to ask. Miss you xxx

We have know Alwyn since we were young a lovely caring lady, with a fantastic laugh. Also a really good friend to our late Mum and Dad, remembering all the happy memories we have shared together growing up, we are thinking of you all and send our love
