Such a kind and caring man. Never judged anyone and took people for who they were.
You will be sadly missed, we are so glad that we knew you

Jim missing your wit and guidance but I’ll take all the words of wisdom and smiles with me you really were a great buddy and a friend. Thinking of Carole and all the family today who we talked about so much and your love and pride in them was always clear. Love from Pam and family

Thanks Jim for everything you did for Hope. You were a brilliant volunteer and a great friend and inspiration to so many people. I don't think I'll ever do a quiz in the future without thinking of our quizmaster extraordinaire.

It is with great sadness that I received the news of Jim's death. He was one of the founder members of the Springfield Primary School family and as such was valued by staff colleagues and friends of the school.. He was always full of ideas, inventiveness and imagination and it was this that endeared him to his pupils and established him as a trusted ally and loyal member of our close knit team. We shared a lot over the years and I had the privilege of not only opening our school with him alongside me but I taught his son, was asked by Jim to perform the naming ceremony of his grandson and warmly welcomed the friendship of him and Carole. It is true to say that Jim touched the lives of many youngsters and they like his many friends and colleagues will remember him with respect, affection and gratitude. We express our condolences to Carole and her wider family and thank them for sharing Jim with us.

So sad to hear about about your passing, I had the pleasure of you being my teacher at Great Coates school all those years ago, luckily I got to see you on odd occasion in scartho village. Always had time for a chat, don’t think you ever forgot any of us.
You was simply one of the best.
