MonicaFINNIGANWe are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Monica aged 77 years. Reunited with Mum, Dad and Brothers John, Georgie and Sister Patsy.

Monica, a loving Mum to Tommy and Mark, Mother in law to Dawn and Karen. A gorgeous Nan to John, Katie, Declan, Heidi and Lily, Great Nan to Lewis, Archie, Georgie, Mollie, Maisie, Rosie and Francis. Devoted Sister to Mary and Robert. Caring Aunty, Great Aunty and friend.

The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time, Monica will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be conducted by Father Richard at St Anthony's Church Scotland Road on Friday 12th September at 11am followed by a committal at Anfield Crematorium 12pm.

Family flowers only please but donations if desired to the Women's Hospital.

I will never forget you Nan, you wasn’t just my Nan you was like a mum to me and my best friend all rolled into one, I genuinely don’t know what am going to do without you in my life 💔 but I will find the strength to keep going for you.. I miss everything about you, our daily catch up and coffee’s, talking about anything and everything, I miss calling you up whenever I want to tell you something or seeing Nan popping up on my phone 💔 Thank you for everything you ever done for me Nan, not only me but my boys too who absolutely adored you, you helped me in more ways then you could ever imagine. Your strength, kindness and love will stay with me forever am so grateful I had 37 years with you ❤️ My queen “I can see you star shining down on me” Love you Nan always X
