FrederickFIRTHIt is with great sadness that the family wish to announce the passing of Fred Firth, aged 91 years on the 27th September 2020. Fred, of Friar Court and formerly of Ascot Way, was a dearly beloved husband of the late Kathleen and a loved partner of Joan and the late Edith. He was a much loved dad to Alison, Andrew, Rachel and the late Bernard. He was a treasured grandad and great-grandad - cherished by family and friends, including Kees and Bob. A private family only service will be held on Monday 12th October 2020. The funeral procession will leave Friar Court at 10.30am following a guard of honour. Requiem Mass at 10:40am at St. Anne's Church, Accrington, followed by cremation at 11.40am at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations to the Diabetic Clinic C/O Hyndburn Funeral Services. A special thanks to the ambulance service and the staff at Royal Blackburn Hospital for their care and support they gave to him and his family.
