We have known Brian for many years and we are devastated by this very sad news. His huge smile and his courtesy will be sorely missed by us all in Bledington. Our deepest sympathies are with his family.

Condolances to the family and friends of Brian. He was a lovely man, and will be genuinely missed for his cheerfulness and friendliness to all his customers here in Charlbury. We have been fortunate to have had his presence here, and it is with sorrow that we say, thank you Brian, and rest in peace.

We are very sad to hear the news today of Brians Passing. All of us at Penny & Sinclair looked forward to our Tuesday morning waves from Brian upon parking our cars and for him to kick start our days with his smile! We will all miss you and no matter rain or shine Brian was always happy, positive sole. A great loss, there are no words.... just the lovely memory of you.

It was with great sadness that I and many others learned this week of the sudden death of our weekly fish man, Brian Fisher. Many of us here in Charlbury, West Oxfordshire looked forward to being able to buy fresh Grimsby fish from Brian on a Tuesday afternoon, between 2.30 and 4.00 pm, at the Rose and Crown end of Market street. Brian always had a very good selection of fish and was always cheerful, regardless of weather conditions. The worst he would ever say of his journey down the country was" it wasn't too bad really" I understand that the fish round will eventually be taken over by someone else and I am sure that we will all be pleased to have a seller of fish again, but we will always miss Brian, with his cheery smile and eternal optimism. May he rest in peace.
Liz Walton.
