Canon Eric WilliamFISHERPassed away peacefully on Friday 9th September 2022 Eric aged 92 years, formerly of Chesterfield, Buxton, Sherland, Sheffield and Longton. Much loved brother of Roy, a dear uncle of Simon and Elena, Adrian and Carol and Louise and Wayne. Also a special great uncle and great great uncle. Eric will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all his, family, friends and former parishioners. Funeral service will take place at St Mary's Church Nantwich on Thursday 22nd September 2022 at 1:00pm prior to cremation at Birches Remembrance Park and Crematorium, Northwich CW9 7SU. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Eric will be greatly appreciated to Dementia UK, Child Bereavement UK and Asante Mampong Babies Home. OMG !!! I can not believe we have missed this , I am so sad and crying now . If it wasn’t for him I would not have my wonderful triplet boys , aged 33yrs now . His healing was AMAZING and he went to Walsingham with my mum , who is a healer and worked with him at St Mathews Church , Carver Street I. Sheffield and Father Mathew who is a bishop of Ghana. I have written a little book called My Testimomy , which show how amazing he is , if you want he hear more email me Kidsandcows@coneygarthfarmdaynursery.co
He was the most amazing man , hopefully he is looking after me and my family from heaven 💜💚🧡

We have only just seen this message. How we loved Fr Eric. We were so sorry not to hear of his death we would love to have come and paid tribute to a wonderful man who enhanced our lives. Covid prevented recent visits to him in His little flat. May he rest in peace and rise in glory. Well done good and faithful servant.
