Chris, you were a true gent with shockingly bad jokes but we will truly miss hearing them. You were such a big part of our family and we are all heartbroken, we have lost a bright light. Good night and sweet dreams you dear man, until we meet again xxxx

Chris was ever present with his " jokes " all very cheesy but couldn't help but laugh, we enjoyed drinks and lovely meals out with Chris, we have got lots of memories going back to the lads playing cricket on a Sunday afternoon.
Chris meant a lot to Tony myself and all our family he will be sadly missed. RIP Chris.

Giant of a man in every way . Always had a smile on his face and a ream of bad jokes , always willing to do a good favour and made me laugh. He was a favourite of my dear wife now departed and he bought us a quite unique wedding present when we got married. He once told me that he was the oldest person in Gatley born in a house in Gatley not a hospital . Will miss you Chris very fond memories . Steve

An absolute legend in Gatley and much loved. From being little I have absolutely adored you. You were the hero in the tug of war when the pubs played against each other. You were the unofficial bouncer at the farrier. You always had time and a hug for me. Always asked about the family. A gentle giant with the biggest heart.
I’m so sorry I can’t be there to celebrate your slide but will raise a glass to you my dear friend. Xxx

Chris was always there for a chat, his mass of wild curly hair riding his bike, and of course the conversation was always ending up with our beloved Man city, Chris was very thoughtful and always called in to see my mum and dad, or just a quick wave on the way to the pub. You are now reunited with your lovely mum Emily. Luv from the Styles family x
