Could not have wished for a better A level teacher at Hannon. She had compassion, a wily stare and the ability to stride around in vertiginous heels. Sending condolences to her family and friends. Sharon Macleod

It was a pleasure to cut Geraldine’s hair for 24 years. We were more friends than clients, I was very fond of her. Rest in peace Ger, love from Helen & all the team at Coco Hair & Beauty. We will miss you X

Working with Geraldine in Bishop Hannon was a pleasure and privilege. An excellent teacher, caring and firm, she gained respect and affection from pupils and staff alike. I will remember the fun we had putting together liturgical celebrations and touring the parishes with our little folk group of Hannon pupils- not forgetting Fr Delaney! Rest peacefully now. Sad news about a lovely lady. Miss Fitzgerald was one of my first teachers in Bishop Hannon, I can remember her teaching R.E. In one of the terrapins. She was one of the best.
