DymphnaFITZGERALD1st May 2024, aged 87 years. Passed away peacefully in hospital. Beloved wife to husband Denis. A most loving, encouraging and selfless mum to Ann, Siobhan Lisa and Sean. Much loved mother-in-law of Vince, James and Min.
Dymphna is remembered as a quietly committed and compassionate Catholic and her presence, personality and energy for life will be fondly recalled by all, especially at the Blessed Sacrament Church and Shrine. Always on the go, she was never happier than when serving tea and biscuits at the Shrine or on an organised day trip to Bala, or on occasion, a longer venture to Lourdes or Medjugorje. Dymphna will be forever deeply missed by all her family and friends, on both sides of the Irish Sea, and beyond.
A splash of colour can be worn for Dymphna's funeral if desired.
Funeral service to take place at Blessed Sacrament Church, Walton Vale, on Monday 20th May 2024 at 1:30pm, followed by a committal at Thornton Garden of Rest Crematorium at 3pm. Family flowers only please, donations in favour of 'Leukaemia UK' would be gratefully appreciated.
