Raymond ThomasFITZHUGHFITZHUGH Raymond Thomas. Passed away peacefully on October 1st 2007, after a long illness so bravely borne, aged 87 years. Loved so very much by his late wife Joan, daughter Jenny, George, grandchildren Katie, Jake and Polar Bear, late son Richard, brothers and sisters-in-law Doff and Lee, Stan and the late Lilian. Roy and Pat, the late Nora and Steve, Bert and family. Close friends Margaret, Kathy, the late Marjorie and Wilf. All family, friends, neighbours, carers especially Linda, Sue and Janette, nurses Rita, Tina, Wendy and Elaine, Doctors and hospital wards. A truly wonderful gentleman who touched the lives of many and will be sadly missed, loved and remembered always. Funeral on Tuesday October 9th, 10.40am at Markeaton Crematorium, floral tributes to Midlands Co-operative Funeral Services, 73 Normanton Road, Derby, DE1 2GH, telephone 01332 344070. If desired, donations made payable to 'Cancer Research' to be sent to 2 Ashberry Court, Allestree, Derby, DE22 2DD. Until we meet again with love. x

Dad, I just wanted to tell you how very much I love you. We talk about you often and share memories, Terry, Jake and I. Jakes so like you dad, you'd be so proud of him. And you'd live Terry, hes the son in law you always wanted. Tomorrow is Jakes birthday and I'm making him a special cake, I hope mum would be proud, I'll never be at mums baking level, but I'm giving it a good go. I wish she was here, I wish you both were.
