Passed away peacefully after a short, but devastating illness with her sister by her side on Saturday 21st October 2023, aged 68 years.
Devoted and loyal wife to Roger. Much loved stepdaughter of Julia. Beloved sister to Jennie and sister in law to Bill. Proud aunty to Martha and Joe, and a wonderful true friend to many.
Jan was a pillar of the community who will be greatly missed.
Funeral service to be held at The Barn at Dale Hill Natural Burial Ground, Ockbrook on Wednesday 15th November 2023 at 2.00pm followed by a private interment.
Jan’s funeral cortege will pass Spondon Sensory Garden on Chapel Street, Spondon, then onto The Co-operative Food Store on Sitwell Street, Spondon at approximately 1.30pm on route to Dale Hill Natural Burial Ground.
As a celebration of Jan’s life, black attire is not necessary, a splash of red is most welcome.
Family flowers only please.
