Peggy BeatriceFLETCHERPeggy Fletcher passed away peacefully at home on December 19th 2022. Peggy was born in Exeter to John and Louise Richards on June 13th 1920, moving to Torquay with her parents and sister Joan as a teenager. Peggy married her first husband Leslie Beare in 1941 Residing in Torquay prior to moving to Exeter in 1952. In 1964 Peggy returned to Torquay with her husband and family. In 1983 Peggy married her second husband Herbert Fletcher living for a while in Exmouth before once more returning to Torquay. Peggy was an active member of the Womens Institute and a keen flower arranger. Peggy is survived by her two sons Graham Beare and his wife Gina, Leslie Paul Beare, John Pollard, the son of beloved sister Joan, his wife Kate and daughter Emily. Three grand children, Simon and his wife Chloe, Elliot and his wife Flora, Jennifer and her husband Zac. Plus four great grandchildren Oscar, Siena, Phoenix and Alexys. A Memorial Service will be held at Furrough Cross Church, Babbacombe Road, St Marychurch at 2pm on Monday January 30th. in lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Rowcroft Hospice, Avenue Road Torquay TQ2 5LS
