MichaelFLOREY(né Quinn) Passed away suddenly at home aged 57 on 14th February, 2021 with his loving partner Tracy and devoted sons Michael and Luke by his side. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Mick will be remembered by many as a passionate rugby player for Aston Old Eds, Yardley & District and Wells RFC before taking on the head coach role at Y&DRFC and for playing football for the Weir Inn among other teams. He will be sadly missed. Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Church, Stechford B33 8UB at 12:45pm on Friday 9th April followed by burial at Woodlands Cemetery, Coleshill B46 1DP at 1:45pm. Due to covid restrictions only 30 invited people are allowed in the church, but Mass will be streamed live on youtube/corpuschrististechford. Donations welcome to British Heart Foundation. giftofhope.bhf.org.uk/In-Memory/Mick-Florey Son Devoted son of Mick (Gunner) Quinn (RIP) and Gladys Florey and stepson of Dave and Pat (RIP). Of all the special gifts in life however great or small, to have you as our son was the greatest gift of all. Brother Much loved younger brother of Kevin, Joanne and Kim and their partners. Beloved nephew and cousin, here and in Ireland and uncle to Liam, Danny, Orla, Tommy, Natasha, Adam, Blossom, Natalie, Karl (RIP), Eleanor, Bethan, Fern and Mabel. You went away so suddenly, we did not say goodbye, but we can never be parted, precious memories never die. Thank you for being the man you were, you and Tracey put my nerves at ease when I first met the family. It was obvious how much love you and Tracey had for one another. A big character in the family that I’ll never forget. You’ll be deeply missed, a genuinely great guy, husband and dad.
R.I.P Michael. 🌹
