My thoughts are with you all on this sad day. They were both wonderful people who I became very fond of, as I spent most of my school holidays round at their house. I remember John giving up his season ticket a few times for me to go to Anfield and Eileen making numerous meals for me too. I remember spending the whole day there watching live aid with Pete back in 1985. Great memories.
Hope they get the send off they both deserve, and hope the day brings happy memories for all the family. Like I said, amazing people who have always been in my thoughts.
