JohnFLYNNJohn Flynn, of Rising Bridge, passed away peacefully in Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Sunday, November 14, aged 75 years. Born and bred in Rossendale, he started work at Accrington Nori Brickworks, moved on to become a Hod Carrier, but for the main part of his working life he was a self employed builder until he retired. John leaves behind his partner of many years Helen, daughter Caroline, son David, granddaughter Payton, sister Anne, brothers Alan, David and Steven, all of whom will miss him dearly. The funeral service and committal will take place on Monday, November 29, 11am at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only, with donations if desired in memory of John to Rossendale Hospice c/o funeral director. Funeral director: Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson, Durning and Woods, Haslingden.
