JohnFODENMr John Foden, of Ashworth Lane, Waterfoot, died on Sunday, November 15, aged 72 years. He was a gardener for Rossendale County Council’s Parks Department. John liked walking, bowles, and socialising in the Buff Club and Roebuck Pubs. He used to play bowles for the Edgeside team when they were going. He leaves nieces Beverly Horrocks and Debra Brackenbury, nephew Ian Foden-Green, and cousins Anne Burton and Peter Kershaw. The funeral was held on Tuesday, December 1, 12.15pm at Burnley Crematorium, led by Stephen Crook. Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Services.
