NickFORBESOf Cambridge, Glass and Kenya. Passed away peacefully on Thursday 9th January 2025 aged 81 years. Devoted Husband to his Wife Anne. Dearly Loved Father to Lachie and Angus. Beloved Grandfather to Max, Kate, Jack, Alec and Tom. Nick will be deeply missed by all. Funeral service to take place on Thursday 30th January at Cambridge City Crematorium, West Chapel at 11am, followed by a memorial service in St Andrew's Church Hall, Chesterton at 1pm. Donations, if desired, to the benefit of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity can be made at the service or directly to the charity. All other enquiries to

So sorry to hear this. Mr. Forbes was almost certainly the most inspiring teacher I ever had. He knew how to make learning fun, memorable and bring it to life. Will never forget the giant elephant dung, locusts and slideshows from Africa. Scout camp and the phenomenal Dinky Safari were more learning opportunities driven by Mr. Forbes. Swimming in the river, the croft, cross-country in the snow. Mr. Forbes was a legendary teacher. He will be greatly missed! Thinking of his family. Becci Grant (Lee/'Lebecaire')
