I had the pleasure of teaching Joan somatic movement and going for walks with her for almost 9 years. In that time she made me laugh, cry and really appreciate what it means to care for people who need it. She shared stories of the children she nursed at end of life care and how important her role was to them and their families and it was so clear to see as she had so many photographs and cards of appreciation. She loved to hear about my children and what they were up to. She has made a huge imprint on my life and I am grateful to have shared those moments and mornings moving or walking and just chatting. Thank you to Nisha for introducing me to her fabulous mum, she will be dearly missed ❤️
