It is with great sadness we announce on Sunday 21st August 2022 in the care of Waltham House Care Home Douglas aged 102 years passed away peacefully surrounded by his devoted family. Loving uncle of Gillian and Mark, much loved great uncle to Emily, Michael and the late Jenna, also Kellie and Sara. Doug was a wonderful and well respected gent who was a good friend to many, he will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 21st September at 10.30 am Floral tributes will be received at Steven Near Funeral Directors 36 Wellowgate Grimsby DN32 0RA. or if desired donations in lieu to The Blind Veterans UK 126 Fairlie Road Slough SL1 4PY.
