Margaret of North Shields and childhood home in Wallsend. Soulmate of Brian for 59 years and beloved mother of Jill, David and Ian. Grandma of Emma, Ryan, Martin and Samantha. Great Grandma of Jasmine and Thalia. She was so proud of them all. Dear sister of George, Peter and Brian whom she adored.

She had a wonderful 81 years and said she could not have had better bairns with whom she had so many wonderful times and holidays.

She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

In line with Margaret's wishes, private funeral arrangements are in place with no service, fuss, flowers or tears.

Just listen to Smile by Nat King Cole and Making Memories by Frankie Laine; they say it all.

Although we only saw each other once in a while (because I’m in the United State) we were very good friends and relations. We exchanged very long letters and always Christmas cards. She and our Brian were a match made in heaven. Both hilarious. I’m talking belly-laughs! 😝
I am Brian’s Mam’s namesake and God-Daughter. Whenever I came home she baked me a traditional English dinner. And we had a lengthy chin-wag with loadsa memories and hearty laughs. I love them both very much. Margaret is sorely missed.

Margaret was always there for family and friends. Giving friendly advice and help when needed. Ringing every few weeks or so to make sure we were all ok. It doesn't get any better than that.
God Bless Margaret.
See you again one day.
