Dear Nana,
I found it so hard to say goodbye today. You’re my greatest inspiration. Our blood, our genes, I’m so happy I got them from you. I have your spirit and I love that it has served me well and will contribute to do so. You never gave in or gave up. The Last time we talked you made me promise you that I was living. You said “none of its any good hannah - unless you’re living” and I promised you that I was. I will never break that promise. I could have been anyone’s grand daughter. I’m so glad I got you as my nana. You were The best
I love you forever Nana

Maureen, the wonderful “salt of the Earth” character with a smile that literally lit up any room or area that had the honour of having her.
Not just my Hannah and Claire’s Nanna or the wonderful Susan’s Mum, but a truly adorable personality full of zest and vitality and that little bit of cheeky charm.
May your body and soul now be at peace sweet Angel ❤️
