Saw a T Stag on TV the other night, then thought Mike Fouracres had a Stag. Then an MGC, possibly white. A quick Google search led me to this very sad news. I was a junior junior to his senior junior at St Mary’s, Manchester. Photo taken in the mess of old St Mary’s now demolished. Mike centre, Ian Mahady beside him, possibly Stuart Mellor behind the bar. My sincere condolences to all affected. Mike is someone I would have been happy to meet up with again.
Dr Andrew Dawson MD FRCOG retired, now Revd.

Mike was my favourite boss, ever. A great surgeon and despite his apparently gloomy exterior , he was extremely kind. ALSO, for posterity, he had the fastest Morris in the west( he was a keen car enthusiast and in his youth had a very souped up morris minor)
