DouglasFOWLERIn Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, on Wednesday 3rd July after a short illness. Douglas Stuart Grant Fowler, aged 78 years. Beloved husband of Elizabeth. Much loved father of Edward, Sarah and Claire. Loving Grandad of Oscar, Ben, Matthew, Louis and Madeleine.

His laughter will be missed.

Funeral service to which all family and friends are respectfully invited in St Fillan's R.C. Church Ford Road Crieff on Wednesday 17th July at 11am.

Private committal thereafter at Perth Crematorium.

Refreshments will be served at the Tower Hotel Crieff.

Oh Dougie! A wonderful father, granddad and father in law/ best friend. You are so missed, who are we going to party with now? However, we did get in some scrapes. Such a great man, who taught me a lot, and told me to enjoy life, wise words. Bhunnahabhain old sausage, we had such a laugh, Neil, Xx

I will also miss his laugh and his humour. Doug had an uncanny ability to make you feel that you were the only person he was focused on, even in a room full of giggles and noise. His kindness was limitless and in high contrast to his ability to cut through the bs. He will be so sadly mourned and although I'm the richer for knowing him, he leaves a large gap in my heart. RiP Douglas and all my love xx
