It is with deep sadness that I have to share the news that Mike passed away on Saturday 24th January 2026 at The Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, aged 85 years. Much loved partner of Joy for 49 years, brother in law to Mike and Stephanie, uncle to Mark and Matthew and cousin who was very dearly loved and respected by all his family and friends. He will be very sadly missed.

A Service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 24th February 2026 at 2.15pm. Mike is resting at Mashfords Funeral Home, Norfolk Lane, Cleethorpes, DN35 8BB, where family flowers only please, will be received. Donations in lieu, if so desired may be made payable to "Many Tears Animal Rescue" and sent to the funeral directors.

Many happy family memories of Mike. We loved to hear his stories of travel, cruises, and his Australia visits.
Also our late mum Iris who thought the world of him. You will be missed by all the family Mike.

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I've know Mike over 50 years. First met him at Stearn electrical. Then moving onto Laports club.
Later we shared many great holidays with Mike and Joy through mariner travel. An absolute gentleman.
