Passed away peacefully at home on 19th January 2023, aged 76 years. Devoted husband of Pat. Amazing dad of Amanda, Claire, Richard and father in law of Allan. Proud grandad of Emma, James and Thomas. Special brother to Julie and the late Vivienne. Dick will be lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. Funeral Wednesday 22nd February, service 1 pm in the Anglesey Chapel at Bretby Crematorium, followed by committal at Stapenhill Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made online to the following charities 'The Royal British Legion' or 'The Salvation Army' or cheques made payable to 'Murray's Charity Account' (to be divided equally) may be sent c/o Murray's Funeral Directors, 23 York Street, Burton, DE14 2LX. Uncle Richard was always a lot of fun, whether he was teasing his nieces and nephews or just having a good time with family. He was always kind and funny, and loved spending time with his loved ones. We will miss him dearly, but we know that he is now at peace. We send our love to auntie Pat and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
