Shirley IrisFOXIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Iris Fox. Shirley passed away peacefully at the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, Derby on Saturday 2nd August. Aged 90 years.
Shirley was the loving wife of the late Kenneth Jacob Fox, as well as a devoted mother, and devoted grandma (to nine), Great Grandma (to seventeen), and Great Great Grandma (to one), it goes without saying Shirley will be sorely missed by all her family and many friends.
There will be a celebration of Shirley life at St Clements Church, Horsley on Thursday 28th August 2025 at 2:00pm. You are warmly invited to send floral tributes to reflect Shirley’s love of flowers, these can be sent c/o Thomas Ryde & Son, Funeral Directors, Belper so they can travel with Shirley on her final journey.
