MichaelFOYMichael, known to many as Mike, passed away peacefully in Ysbyty Gwynedd on Thursday, 6th June after a short illness, having spent the earlier months of this year in Bryn Y Mor Residential Home, where he celebrated his 90th birthday in March. Until last winter Mike continued to live independently in Cemaes, where he was known to very many present and past residents of the village, where he had spent his childhood and youth, and where he returned in 1996, with his late wife Jill, after three decades living in Knutsford, Cheshire. Loving cousin to Carol (Richard, Katy and family), devoted uncle to Wendy (Shige and Ellen), a dear neighbour and a true friend, Mike will be deeply missed and most fondly remembered by us all.
The funeral service and committal will take place on Thursday, 11th July at 1:30 at Bangor Crematorium. The hearse will pass by Mike's home at approximately 11:45 and travel on through Cemaes High Street on its way to Bangor.
