Elizabeth IreneFOYLEformerly of Hawkers Lane, Wells, has died peacefully after a short stay in hospital, surrounded by her family. She was aged 91.
Irene was the beloved wife of David and was a much-loved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She was a well- known nurse in the Wells area, especially as a practice nurse at Dr Pinching's surgery.
The memorial service, a celebration of a long life, well lived, is at St Thomas's Church, Wells, on 22nd April at 2pm. Everybody is welcome.
Family flowers only please, but donations in Irene's memory for the benefit of the residents of Silverways Nursing Home (where Irene spent her final years) may be made to Christchurch Housing Society, and sent to Unwins Funeral Directors, Underwood Business Park, Wookey Hole Road, Wells, BA5 1AF.
Bright colours are welcome at the service.
