RonaldFRANKELMr Ronald Frankel, of Greenbrook House, Whitworth, formerly of Bacup, died on Monday, December 4 in Pendleside Community Hospital, aged 82 years.
A service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Bacup on Thursday, December 14 at 1pm, followed by interment in Whitworth Cemetery at 2.15pm conducted by the Rev Dave Bartram.
Ronald was born in Bury and moved to Stoke on Trent as a young boy, eventually settling in Bacup in 1975. He ran his own haulage company and later the coach travel business ‘RONALDSWAY’ based in Bacup.
Ronald interests included steam railways and he attended Baptist churches in the local area prior to his illness.
He leaves his wife of 56 years, Kathleen, sons Paul and his wife Sarah, Ian and his wife Becky, Alyn and his wife Collette, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, brother John, brother-in-law Colin and his wife Gill, brother-in-law John, nephews, nieces and many friends.
Wearing black clothing is optional.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Salvation Army.
