Christine ElizabethFRANKSChristine (Betty), aged 84, sadly passed away at UHNM Royal Stoke in the loving care of her family on Thursday, 30th November, 2023 on a cold and frosty morning.

Dearly loved wife of John for 63 years.

Christine was a loving Mum of Andrew, proud Nanny of Leah, Heather and Thom, sweet Mother-in-Law to Michaleen, cherished Nan of Rhead and Gemma and Great-Nanny to Finlay. She was also a loyal Sister of Joan, Pat and Gwen and was loving and devoted to their families. Christine was important to her wider family and friends too, who will certainly mourn the loss of a friend, confidant, and role model.

Fondly remembered by staff and friends at Adlington House - 'meetings, quizzes, film nights and knit and natter will not be the same without her.' A lot of people are going to miss her.

John, Andrew, Leah, Heather, Michaleen, Thom, and family would like to thank you for all your condolences, thoughts, and prayers.

They would also sincerely give their thanks to the staff from UHNM Royal Stoke, especially Ward 210 FEAU, Ward Manager Jo Reece and Dr Aitor Tapia who were outstanding in their care, approach and support. There should be more like this team.

Christine's goodbye and celebration of her life will be held at Wolstanton Methodist Church on Tuesday 19th December 2023 at 11:30 a.m. Her Cremation will be held with family only at Bradwell Crematorium following this service, and her family would ask anyone attending to please remain at Church for refreshments until they return.

We know Christine loved flowers but family and friends wishing to honour Christine are asked instead to make a donation to Cancer Research and Asthma & Lung UK via our funeral director.

I will always remember Chris welcoming my Mum and Dad so very warmly when they had just moved into Adlington House and didn’t know anyone. Rest in peace Chris, you are now shining brightly in heaven, may God bless you 🌟
